cheers ta.

Nope, its not the west country final of Mr Gay UK,

It just some of the idiots who give up their spare time to go dig in the woods.

In the space of roughly a year the woods have been transformed from this:

To this kinda thing:

So yeah, its been quite a year.

Thanks to everyone who has come down and given up their spare time to help develop what is becoming quite a rad spot. Their are far too many to name one by one, but you know who you are. Thanks.

Lets keep digging and developing our little spot in the woods and fingers crossed for a long, hot summer where all the hard work will (hopefully) pay off.

George.

black dog

soooooo basically apart from maybe aitken, justin inman is probably my most favouritist bmx rider ever.

In terms of riders that have had an impact on me i think justin inman probably holds court over everybody. when i first got slams, it was because of inman, when i wanted to learn tables, it was because of inman.

He is a full factory pro with a (joint (with brian foster!!)) signiture frame and has probably the best trails section in a video ever, but seems like a pretty chilled guy.

there was a picture of him in ride a few years ago at an old backyard (coventry) about 6 feet out of a flatbank wedge thing tableing like a beeeast, that was sick.

there is no magazine interview with him as far as i know but i'm trying to get hold of the video that his french trip with chase hawk in, if anyone has it or knows what it might be?..

peace out - welshmike

babe i'm gonna leave you

I was just watching that robbo vid kung put a bit ago big and hd and saw this other vid on the guy's page

Winter Dig Time from Tom C on Vimeo.

featuring some bastardized verision of 'babe i'm gonna leave you' it is a pretty good thing to watch i guess. makes you realize digging is a pretty cool thing to do. vid's a bit emo though, but still pretty cool.

kung can you do me a copy of building the underground?

peace

Today

Popped down today to meet Will, Oscar was down too. Did some work on the Kung Fu line, while Oscar did some work on the pump track. Pretty good, built a landing and most of the next lip, onto the last jump in that line. Cleared the space for the berm at the bottom as well.

Other Will pretending to help.

Ocsar and Timmy built this.

Jumps from last weekends dig.

Colum clocking in today.

Tooled up

We have a bit of a spade shortage at the moment, if anyones has access to any or feels like treating themselves to a new years present, bring one down on the weekend. We wouldn't want people stood around watching others dig now would we.

this is the best magazine issue ever, i've just read it all through for the 4th time and it's amazing.

Yup dry enough to ride. got me all over excited for the summer. look there is a picture from my phone as proof. everything is moving on well. if it stays dry enough to ride, can people not ride ANY of the trail lines, they are still work in progress. bit cheeky to ride someone elses hard work before they have had a chance to ride it themselves. thanks.

BIG DIG DAY next sunday (11th of Jan) Had a good crowd down today 8/9 people putting the hard work. more next weekend?

Dry enough to ride, cold enough to snow

Kung ere,

First post in 09 then. What a turn out eh, nuff people, shame there's only about 3 good spades left. Things looking good, new lines, plenty of ideas. Just found this while nibbling the net, let's build some landings like those in the background...
