Hats Off To (Roy) Harper

Alright folks

To combat the credit crunch and for a bit of a laugh i am going to plant a load of veg at the woods. I figure the stuff that likes shade can go behind crossed swords, and the stuff that likes sun can go outside the treeline after the 5th in BF where there is a second treeline further out (to protect it from view of the road)

I am going to get carrott, onion and runner-bean seeds this week, if anyone wants to get in on this or just has ideas of other stuff we could grow, get some seeds.

Peace

Laurs' wants an allotment more than is healthy, so we might have a willing garden tender and an excuse for me to spend more time in the woods!

oooh, for carrots you really should've dug some manure into the ground back in November. You'll find you'll plant a row and not all of 'em'll take either, so plant many rows and watch out for the dreaded carrot fly.

I wish I still had a veggo patch. I'm crap when its on my own garden though, so not a lot of point on me coming in on this as I'll never get round to looking after my bit!

dont worry emily, there has been plenty of 'manure' layed down that end of the track from well before november.
