Belgian Collection
Finally made it down to Boyd's woods...rad little spot he has got running after only 6 months of digging....the roller coaster set up into the line is weird as hell, but fun when you have it sorted. He's got some weird plans for the winter. looking forward to seeing what he comes up with. Hope to get some more sessions in before the seasons out.
Boyd mixing up some repair clay.
strange old tunnel next to the jumps.
First conkers of the year
Squared off niceness
The digmore detox is going good. Drinking epic amounts of ginger beers now though.
Somerset sunsets on the way home.
My savaged hip after hittin the eject button at (R)oyds.
Will Herrmann is back in town for the winter. Always treats hanging out with him. He was learning one foot tables the other day:
(sorry about the bung camera phone photo)
Adi has bought a motorbike after months of talking about it. Going to custom the hell out of it, another project i am looking forward to seeing the end result of:
Been to see a few of bands this week:
The Computers
Turbowolf
Florence and the machine
Future Islands
The Gerrmann got quite excited by this band. 'worth a pound'. Not as excited as when i told him about the Minus the Bear Acoustics album.
The woods are too dry now. need some rain.
Its all been getting exciting round my way recently. The landlord, from the dodgy as fuck pub behind my house, car got tourched last week:
Then Sunday just gone a massive ruck kicked off outside, there was a few police cars, a riot van shit loads of coppers running about. Went out the next day to find my windscreen in this state:
Thats blood in the middle of the impact, made by some fuckers head. Savage.
Talking of blood and savage things. Finally got hold of a copy of Banned 3. One of the best bmx films i have seen in ages, not that I actually watch that many, but this one is definately rad.
Other rad stuff i have seen on the internet recently:
Mancycle, which is incredible:
And saw this on sasquatch canyon and didnt know whether to laugh or cry. When i lived in Bournemouth, I was once walking to the pub when a car pulled up and a chav jumped out, called me a 'skater goth' and punched me in the face then got back in the car and drove off. I wasnt hurt so much as confused to what the hell a skater goth was. This dude seems to be a trials goth. There is room for everyone in this world i suppose:
right, best go chase the police for some compensation.

ello.
The jumps have been attacked for the 2nd time in as many weeks. the lips wrecked as before plus the 2nd in BF plus a bunch of other mindless stuff like pulling the hut down and trashing anything they can. oh what i would to to catch the gromits that are doing this. it sucks mostly because the water trough is dry and we used most of the water to fix them up last time. now we dont have water to fix up again or water the jumps which are getting pretty haggard after this dry spell we are having. ho hum.
Herrmann the Gerrmann was back in town, brought a bunch of northern dudes down the woods last monday. I am pretty shit with names, but Scott the punk, merlin and mole stick in my mind. but there was about 10 of them and all rad guys. Mole flaired the bowl and tyre tapped the tree next to bowl, impressive stuff. Will also showed me a video he had put together for the lights in the woods site. its called skeleton on the dunny, its a load of re-edited footage and will has got hold of some program that degrades the quality so it looks like its a VHS. Sick:
The trails having but running quick this week, and plenty of ideas for rebuilds and new lines over the winter.
The weekend has a good one. Birmingham friday for Adi's exhibition, was good to see the final piece and i think he sold a fair few as well.
Drove down to Devon with Kung on saturday for Toby and Jess's housewarming, a real nice mellow BBQ. their new cottage is a million miles different to the flt in bristol, which in Toby's words looked like the inside of a Ipod. The view from their garden is killer:
Sunday we went and poked around at decoy, i was riding like a lame mule so didnt bother much. but it was rad to kick back and watch ferret and toby roasting, have a look at the photos kung put up...kung also got some good shots of ferret in decoy's new bowl for ride's park warden. Went and slept on the beach in the afternoon sun. I like devon. A lot.
Turns out Toby is massive in Leeds. A proper fan club, one member even drove down to Brum to buy one of Adi's drawings. Living the charmed life. That is his own vineyard on the hill in the background?! On the phone to someone important, probably sorting out a meet and greet in Leeds. Serious.
Pretty shady
Sasquatch Canyon
and Brain Tunney on his espn blog has given us a mention in the last week or so so i am returning the favour.
All rad sites you probably know about already but check them out again. Always good time wasting content.
The rebuilds and riding continues. Fingers crossed this weather holds for a little while longer. I dont think i ready for winter just yet.
