was in Focus in avonmouth this morning. they ahve got some great offers on good spades.http://www.spear-and-jackson.com/en/select-stainless-steel-digging-spade-28£14, not bad, also for £13 the have a bull nose shovel like will's but with a tapered handle. might go get those two at the weekend.
mate go with a proper long handle. once you go long can't go wrong
i have been having a nibble with your spade lately will and have to say, i'm starting to see the charm.if i can't get the wilko replaced for free, think i'll man up and go long.
i agree. long is ace for 'beautiful stacking' but find me a long handled stainless steel square head for slapping in for £14 and i will gladly buy it!!
adi and i had an idea earlier, maybe everyone could chuck in a quid or two and we use the money to buy a good packing in spade.seems a bit unfair for someone to spend 20 quid or so on one, then we all smack the shit out of it till the point of destruction.what do you reckon?
