pump pump squirt

the pump track seems to exist in a weird micro climate all of its own. popped down sunday evening, expecting a lovely dry track, but found puddles in all the scoops. it has been ridculously hot the previous 2 days, bar the massive thunder storm friday night. guess it doesnt get the sun to dry it out now all the green is out on the trees. anyways, a bit of tinkering with naron made it ridable and got quicker and quicker the more we rode it. whilst we were sorting out the back section it seemed to be raining under this one tree but no were else. even popped out of the woods to check it wasnt spitting or raining. nope just the weird pump track microclimate. after a bit of pumping around we started digging a new connecting line with weird opposite roller thingymajigs. tight as hell, but will bring you round into a dirt spine going into the bowl-a-licious. talking of the bowl, my fellow digger of the bowl-a-rama, Oscar, broke his leg saturday. get well soon bud if you are reading this.
